Today I have given myself a holiday from all my work and took time out to go for a walk up the Cataract Gorge. It is officially Autumn now and the day started out being chilly but developped into a perfect Autumn Day.
This is the view looking across to the First Basin.
On the way back everyone was fascinated by this school of fish that formed a circle round I'm not sure what!
And the man in this little dinghy seemed oblivious to it all.
Earlier in the week it had been very hot - 30 degrees and this photo shows the smoke haze over Launceston from the fires on the West Coast and Highlands. Not a day to hang out the washing.
