After our second night at Thurso we retraced our tracks down the East Coast and then drove inland to drive across Scotland to the Western side and The Isle of Skye.This little fishing hut in the middle of a lake amused us.
First stop were the Falls of Shin.
We had coffee at the local tourist venue - this area is owned by Mohammed Al Fayed who also owns Harrods - see his Madam Tussaud statue with his favourite hunting dog.
This bridge was used in one of the well known Scottish films - I think it was The Highlanders so you may recall Mel Gibson striding over this particular bridge.
Across more Scottish countryside - from memory I think this was a canal which traversed the land - we did see some sailing boats at one point.
