European Holiday 2008 Part 1

On 16th April 2008 we started our journey to Europe
by flying from Launceston to Melbourne-Dubai-Vienna.
These photos were taken looking over the snow clad mountains of Iran.
















On arrival in Vienna we travelled to our hotel the Zipser which is located on the outskirts of the tourist route in Vienna.











We walked around the streets to stretch our legs and get our bearings (it didn't help much as we were walking in the opposite direction to the Tourist Centre!) We did come across this delightful church just around the corner from our hotel and opposite some nice restaurants which we tried out.














I love the doors on the old buildings.
